Engaged Scholarship supports the mission of urbanCORE by accelerating student purpose, providing faculty support, and assessing engaged scholarship and its impact.
Dr. Tamara Johnson is the Director of Engaged Scholarship at UNC Charlotte. She develops policies, programming and structures that support engaged scholarship, foster collaboration with and between faculty, and enrich the student experience through experiential and community-based learning, civic engagement, and international education.
